Does design include my URL?
No. Domain/URLs are not included in the cost. Domains must be purchased in order to launch a website. If you don't have a domain yet, you can purchase one with your Wix subscription. If you already have a domain through a different site, it can be transferred to Wix.
Do you strictly design through Wix?
Yep! I've been designing and hosting websites with Wix for years. I do not offer design for Wordpress, Squarespace, etc.
Where did you get the name "cygnet"?
My last name is Swan. Neat, right? Totes. Cygnets are baby swans, of which I have two. Cygnet #1 is Callum and Cygnet #2 is Everett. My boys are my inspiration and drive for all things in life.
I've Heard Wix sucks for SEO. Is that true?
Fake news! SEO is what you make it. Like marketing, you have to put the work into it. You can't just upload images to a nice site and hope for the best. I personally have been hosting my photography website for years and am regularly found on Google and fully booked out for the entire year.
IS WIX EXPENSIVE?
Not at all! They offer several different subscriptions ranging from $FREE.99 to $29/month. I recommend the Combo plan, at least, which is $11/month. That's less than your Starbucks addiction.
How long does the process take?
On average, your website can be launched within 2 weeks. Make sure to have your portfolio images, logo/branding, and a bio ready to go when booking. In need of a logo? No problem! I don't design logos, but I can refer you to some awesome designers who will treat you right!
